Featuring 18 colour pictures / cards of Tennis Ball characters wearing different hats, this resource provides a hands-on approach to data analysis. There is a sheet of questions for children to fill in e.g. how many Tennis Ball characters have blue eyes, how many wearing Pirate hats etc. Other activities include designing hats for each Tennis Ball character on the sheet, matching black-and-white Tennis Ball characters and colouring them in to make them the same. A fun with food activity linked to numbers 1 to 6. Sheet 1 shows sushi arranged on a table. Sheet 2 shows 6 individual sushi in different colours. Sheet 3 shows a template that children can fill in. Sheet 4 shows an empty table that children could paste sushi onto. The idea is that children cut out the individual sushi and organise them in as many different ways that they can so that each arrangement is different but still adds up to 6. Cut and laminate the sushi cards and table for use in your number area.
